Description
In this online class via Zoom, you can practice yoga in the comfort of your own home. The instructor gives instruction in gentle movements and postures that help align, strengthen, and balance the body. We also explore ways to ensure balance in all aspects of our lives, including breathing techniques, meditation and other tools of yoga. Each class ends with a deep, meditative relaxation. Designed especially for baby boomers, seniors, and those who wish to cultivate stability and balance in body, mind, and spirit. This gentle class is suitable for all levels of students and beginners are welcome.
For TUESDAY’S class, choose a quiet place to set up where you will not be interrupted for an hour and a half. You will need
- a chair,
- a yoga mat or blanket to lie on,
- a blanket or pillow for your head, and
- a bolster, or extra pillow or rolled-up towel or blanket for the closing relaxation.
