Description
This week, we explore AXIAL EXTENSION in our ĀSANA series. These postures create maximum vertical alignment of the spine while integrating its natural curves without strain or compression. Extensions also increase space and circulation in our shoulder and joints, leading to a healthier, more flexible body.
We’ll also review the 8 LIMBS OF YOGA, the process taught by the ancient yogis for developing the clarity of vision and self-knowledge that leads to personal integration and freedom.
Pairing the movement (ĀSANA), with sound (Chant) and breath (PRANYAMA), you will personally experience the benefits of this practice not only to your body, but also to your mind and spirit. As always, we close with a guided meditation, that leaves you deeply relaxed with a sense of increased vitality and overall well-being.
This gentle class is suitable for all levels of students and beginners are welcome.
Class will be held in the Sanctuary of the United Church in Tallahassee, 1834 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308.
